Surprise!

Could not believe it. Unbelievable. Well same thing said twice.

England beat India! What is going on? I checked scores at half stage of england innings, they were seven down for 130 something. Just checked final scores anticipating an Indian win, however.

India did not score too many runs, they got themselves out for only 212. I thought its not a batsmen's ground. And when england lost about 6 or 7 wickets with only 120 runs on board, England had no chance to win this game, how bad my judgement was.

I guess the lesson from this game to all, is if you hold on to your heart with positivity, you can achieve anything. Bopara scored 43 and remained not out and so did Broad with couple of more runs.

Bopara's highest in one day cricket has been 52 (out of 242 runs he made in all matches he played) and it remains so even after today's match and that is his only fifty. (he has a double century to his credit in first class cricket.) And he is yet to play test cricket.

Broad's highest in one day has been 45 not out (out of 125 runs he made in all maches) and that is what he scored today.

Both Bopara and Broad have played 13 one day matches each.

Nice job, well done you two, England could have lost 2 more wickets and still would have won the match.

Series is now interestingly poised towrds England with three wins and lone victory to India at Bristol. Three more games to be played, India has to win all of them to clinch the series.

Next outing is at Leeds on sunday the 2nd.
